A lot of our work is made up of one-off projects for particular companies. These include on-vehicle and household surveys, and the analysis of electronic ticket machine (ETM) data and concession reimbursements.
The analysis of ETM data is of increasing importance with the continued spread of Quality Partnerships between local authorities and bus operators. The ETM data can give invaluable information on passengers’ journeys and (from the timing data) on the reliability of the services. The latter is of great interest to local authorities who have provided infrastructure improvements.
